1957 Evinrude 3hp Lightwin. Broken Fuel Shut off valve and disintegrated in tank screen. This looks like a standard threaded fuel fitting with an in-line filter should work. Fairly tight quarters but new valve is basically unavailable and in-tank screen is pretty pricey at $40. Any thoughts or other options are welcome.

You can solder your own new screen, material available from Mcmaster Carr.

OR post wanted ad at aomci.org in the webvertize section.

Ill look through my parts and see what I can dig up.

Try some of your local parts houses or lawn mower repair shops.

All great ideas... Thanks. I didn't think of lawn mower shops. The valve was frozen and the wings bent when I got it. Maybe I'll throw it in my parts dip can and see If I can loosen things up. When all else fails it looks like Ebay has a few for sale.
