Hi guys...in the process of renovating my boat....the fill and overfill nozzles on my plastic fuel tank broke off....having trouble finding a proper fuel tank replacement....I've looked at quite a few sites but no matches.... my next step is a custom poly fuel tank but I think the cost if going to scare me...
I've been tossing the idea to do a back yard fix...mounting a base with a nozzle to attach the gas fill hose... using screws with proper gas resistant gasket.
Am I looking for trouble or is this doable? thanks for any advice
