Broken steering cable for MerTrolling motor

I have two rusted and broken steering cables on my Mercury Thruster trolling motor (1979 model). Does anyone know if these cables are still available and who may have them. Any information would be helpful. Thank

Jim. The serial # is 5422520 or 5422320 for this Mercury trolling motor.
