Good memory guageguy. It was actually last Father's Day.

The most pain I have been in since I can remember. Once I could drop the crutches and wear just the brace, I partook in physical therapy 3 times a week at first then 2, then 1 and finally after 3 months it felt pretty good.

I can honestly say its feels great today even wearing heels dosen't seem to bother it. Although, deep knee bends are just a faded memory I'm afraid. The good news is....nosurgery yet.

It was sweet of you to ask. :)

One of the reasons I remember is because a couple of my first few posts were about your knee, cause I have had the surgery. Glad that it turned out well, knee surgery is really painful. ;)

As far as I can tell the little toe provides protective sheilding for the garage floor from heavy falling objects (dropped a 5kg chunk of firewood on my own yesterday)

dm

Man that hurts! I've done it several times and just tape er up! Keep tape w/ me when traveling in case jam fingers, etc. Ice, elevate and take it easy. But as always better to see doc(I never do, hate docs) :) SOme times you'll be surprised tho, just strectched ligaments, making that cracking sound - yuk, and better in day or two.
Steel toed boots when I work! Take care and ice & elevate!
