Broken upper bearing carrier

I have an 02 Glastron that I purchased 2 years ago with a 4.3 Volvo with the penta sx-m. My gimbal bearing started to go and long story short,removing the drive I broke the upper bearing carrier. Snapped all 4 bolt tabs off, took the pivot unit off and pressed the carrier out. Now what is my next move to get the bearings and gear assembly out . Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, and I did. Got it all apart. The gear looks fine with a nice even contact pattern, and all bearings get replaced. Also will be replacing the u-joints,bellows etc. Anyone doing this job know that the oem bearings are made by koyo and skf. And can be bought online for $40 (SKF part #31307 J2 Q,large)and $19(KOYO part# 30207 JR,small)instead of $90 each in a volvo box, I havent got the #'s off the gimbal bearing but I am sure its out there cheaper. Also the upper bearing carrier is available online for $179, brand new.
