I purchased my first 18', 1995 Sea Ray 175 Series BR. The past owner had it painted with some sort of brown granular type paint that is just on and below the water line. It almost looks like truck bed liner material...althought not that thick.
Anyway this paint is flaking off and I'd like to remove it totally. I can take a razor blade and water spray to remove it on the flat sufaces but it takes a lot of time. Using the razor blade method, I can totally remove the paint down to the orginal white gel coat. It actually looks really good.
Any ideas on a bit faster way to take it off?
Thanks in advance!
