Had to messarge it in there but it works awesome.. lol 14.5 after a few minutes of run time.. 35amp don't take long to recharge all my batteries.. now if I can rig up some power tilt and trim on this I'd be all set..

At one time I used to joke about putting one of those wee car ( japanese ) alternators on these motors.-----Now someone has done it.

Congratulations! That is an impressive retrofit! What was the output on the OEM flywheel alternator?
I never liked the fact that my 1986 Johnson 150 (J150TXCDC) flywheel alternator only put out 9 Amps. The same year J150STLCD put out 35 Amps. I wonder if I could swap out flywheels?

The 28 / 33 / 40 HP used to have a belt driven GENERATOR kit.----Would put 10 amp at full throttle.
