ok so I get the engine running, outdrive down (replace that silly rubber piece in the water pump) and put the spurs to her. ok ok ok...I replaced the thermostat put the wrong gasket on the thermostat cover and busted the silly thing torqing it down. it's a AQ190 Ford 302 and I'll be buggered if I can't find a replacement cover. the number stamped on the cover is 261172, see pics.IMG-20110809-00002.jpgIMG-20110809-00003.jpg anyone know where I can get this silly thing? nothing I've seen on iboats comes close to the configuration, auto parts store guys tried but looked at me funny when I said the extra outlets went to the exaust manafolds.

Sorry, got click happy there. I meant to add some text in first. This part says Volvo Penta For 302, and says it is 2 pieces. But I did have trouble making it look like yours from your pics.

Search around on ebay, there are many parts guys on there and even if they do not have something listed you may get a lead on what you need.

I broke one last week, it is cast iron. I took it to a reputable welder and had him braise it for me, looks good and water tight. I paid about $50 to have it fixed.
