While making new bunks for my boat i used liquid nails between the carpet and the wood. When i had the bunk upside down on the saw-horses stapling the back side the saw horses must had rubbed in a couple of spots and sucked liquid nails through the carpet.
I was unable to clean the liquid nails from the carpet and now have a couple of spots where the carpet is semi-hard from the liquid nails.
Will these spots destroy my gel-coat as the boat slides on and off?
Any help is appreciated
