I went to my local lake to pay for my dockage. I still have the same slip as last year, but now they have reconfigured the docks.

Previous years the dock was just one long dock that protruded out into the lake with the slips on each side of it. My slip was in 20' of water and it was the best fishing hole in the lake. Didn't have to leave the slip to catch fish was great.

Now the dock runs parallel to the shore in about 5' of water. Closer to the campground. So now I have to find a way to get my generator to be more quiet.

Well one good thing is that where I am at now, my slip will be less likely to have others park in it while I am out on the lake.......SS

I hope they have good security there cause I have found that closer to shore, more people likes to "look" at your boat.

Yeah SBN, That was one of the things that is bumming me out also. Last year I only had my rubber snakes stolen off the boat. It scares me somewhat what could be done this year.

I may have to request to go to the main marina. Right now my dock is in a small secluded camp area. The security is good, but they can't be there all the time. I just hate to go over to the main area. Not near the privacy that I have now.

Oh well, got to get over it and deal with it. Who knows, maybe the fish will move to be around the docks. Thanks......SS

Hey guys. SS, my brother in law docks out at Clendening Lake. He came into the store yesterday to get another gas tank. Seems someone ripped his off. Didn't even bother to disconnect the hose just broke it off. Trouble is, unless you put this stuff in a locked box, not a lot you can do to prevent theft. Like you said, "Shore Patrol" can't be there 24/7.
