I am about to replace the bunk boards on my trailor assuiming the rain will stop long enough for me to get out of the house. Its storming with lighting and all the good stuff to go with here. Anyway i am wondering if i need to raise the boards on my trailor, there are 2 boards 1 on each side of the boat. The reason i ask is that i have seen alot of boats lately on the road and none of them seem to be sitting on the rollers. Mine is mainly on the rollers and boards dont really touch the boat. I can move one side or the other at any given time with the boat on the trailor. Not to mention no matter what i do it is nearly impossible to get the boat on even with theh trailor. I have around 4 or 5 holes left on each side of the mounts i can go up and down with. So is the boat suppose to rest mainly on the rollers, or the boards? Or is it suppose to be about a even rest. Thanks.

Re: Bunk boards

thanks for the answer that was what i was thinking would be good, in my mind it spreads the wieght out and across more area. as opposed to where it is resting mainly on the rollers, that puts alot of weight on keel and rollers. doesnt look like i am getting out today now anyways the lighting and rain is still coming down.
