Burn mark on stainless prop on VP Duoprop

The family and I had a great time at the lake today (other than some a-holes at the ramp that seemed to think they owned the place, but that is a separate post). Afterwards, I had a look at my outdrive and it left me with a question. I know there is some condition that can 'burn' your prop. I noticed this discoloration on a few of my blades and wondered if this could be what it is.

If you look at the prop on the left (bigger one) at the blade I have pointed up, you will see a line of sort of bluish discoloration I am talking about. I am also having a bit of a low speed vibration (almost like something is not straight) but at speed all is well. Do I need to have my props worked on? I am a bit leary as these are custom props that were made for the previous owner. If so, who is the best in Atlanta area?
Thanks in advance.

The avitation you are having is being enhaned by the ragged edge on your forward prop, I would also say it is ausing your low RPM vibration. If it was me, I would only let the people who atually did this prop on the front end work on it. They need to have the orret pith bloks to fix it right and not many people have the right ones for duoprops.

Good advice but I have no idea who did it, or if it was even local. Gotta start from scratch...

Take a fine stone or file and file down any nicks or rough edges. It looks like you have some rough edges from the pictures, I have done this in the past and it usually smoothes out the problem.

Good luck.

I am real sure I see a bad bend in the prop here George, but with pitures it is hard to tell.
