Hey folks, it's been raining here for a week, with more on the way. I really need to get my boat on the water. So here's the plan. We'll all pitch in and buy a few thousand acres of level land that has a year round stream. We'll dam the stream, then build a wall around the new lake and tarp the top. Voila! An indoor lake! We'll charge admission and recover the money spent in just a few hundred years. ;) whadya say huh?

Me and Heycods will take all the rain you can send us. The cattle and horses have ate almost all of the grass and what they haven't the fires are getting. Bring the rain and we can have giany mudslides.

I'd be happy to share it with ya'll. Give me about 10 days of a nice easy rain and we'll be good for a week or so. I'd really like to have some rain. Not so much for me as I have seen it before but my 4 yo daughter never has. :)

Indoor skiing? Sounds interesting. Do tell!

We'd have to plant fish in the lake, of course. Can't have boating without fishing! I'm voting for tropical catfish, since some get over 6 feet long. Sure would like to hook one of those on my 6 lb test line spinning rod! And since the tropicals would require heat, we could have swimming too!
Ok, I'll quit it now. :D

I did think of plans years ago for an indoor paylake.
Just the thought of the dollars it would take to build and maintain one set it on the back burner.
