Buy Yamaha or Johnson 9.9?

I am planning to buy a 9.9 2-stroke, either Yamaha or Johnson. Could anyone out there tell me why Yamaha pre-mix is 100:1, whereas other outboards, have a 50:1 pre-mix? What kind of problems would I face with going Yamaha 100:1?
Any opinions or comparisons between the Yamaha, versus Johnson?

In this case I vote for Yamaha. I just said Mercury over a Tohatsu in an other post.
When you choose an outboard there is more to it than just the fuel/oil mix.
Yamaha has always (last 10-20 years) been a very good choise. #1 in most comparisons; top speed, acceleration, MPG, noise. In general.
The 100:1 is fine for the new Yamaha's. No problem. If we talking old Yamaha's... No but that is not the issue here.

I don't know much about the new Bombardier Johnson.

What about dealers, service and parts? That is very important too. You don't wan't to wait 8-10 weeks for parts.

How are you going to use it? A kicker for trolling, on a sailboat, jon boat...

billy-bobby,

I don't think you can go wrong with either. The supporting dealer would be a major factor in my decision process.
