Buying a new trailer?

I have done some looking around and the boat I want to tow is only a 12 ft aluminum. The dealer says I should buy the 1000lb trailer because it comes with larger wheels and it is $1000.00. The 850lb trailer is $850.00, with smaller wheels. This trip I am going on is about 800 miles to the cabin and when I get there I will be leaving the trailer, not towing it back home.
Maybe I should check out a few other dealers?

look for a used trailer, them make sure that the bearing and races are replaced along with tires. save some $$$$. you should get buy around 4-500.
