Buying a 1987 Wellcraft Center Console 20' fisherman with a 235 Horsepower Johnson Outboard - not sure of year but was recently re-built - runs well, going to check compression. $3,000 boat-motor-trailer. Boat seems very solid nice tower on the console - overall looks good - needs a good cleaing etc. I have heard of floor issues as well as gas tank problems but the floor seems very solid as does the transom. Anything I need to worry about/ look out for? Is there a lot of wood in these boats?

great boat.... Mine had the stringers and deck replaced by the p/o.
Floor, transom, stringers, and bulkheads are all wood. Check out wellcraftv20.com and tell em smokeonthewater sent ya... It's a great forum all about these boats.
