i'm looking at a boat tomorrow. its a 1990 sea nymph 19.5ft bowrider for fishing. Hull is said to be in good shape with no rivets popping, no leaks. full camper top, has a 2003 bought new in 2006 90hp 4 stroke merc and a 1995 9.9 honda kicker, has riggers, rod holders, fishfinder gps, marine radio, all safety equipment trailor, new floor, carpet, vinyl sides. list goes on and on.
can anyone give me some helpful hints and questions to ask. I'm bringing a compression guage to check 9.9, have no idea on 4 stroke what to look for.
This boat i primarily for fishing but i do have a wife and two kids that like tubing, and we are hoping skiing for us will not be a problem. I was skiing two years ago on a 4 stroke 50hp with no problems at all but it was a 16ft princecraft not a 19.5 sea nymph with full windshield.
