My reserve tank is full. Isn't it supposed to refill automatically.
What could be the problem?

Up is as high as your imagination can go.....
Depends on the type and year of your truck......
How about my oil tank not being refilled automatically??
Any one have any ideas where I can start looking?

what I was hinting at is the fact that there are at least 4 seperate systems depending on year model, engine model and number of cylinders. however you dont seem to care to post any pertanant information so as a professional tech I cant help much.
if you will tell us what we are working on there is a good chance we can help.
its a very simple system.

Sorry, It is a 1991 Yamaha 200 V6 Two Stroke engine on a 1983 25FT CC.
Engine always ran fine. previous owner said he never had any problems with it. The tank would automatically fill if you slowed down the engine RPM.
I slowed down and after about 30 seconds buzzer went off again.....

ok
there are some simple things. one is to insure the filter at the remote tank is clean.
if its partially clogged the engine can consume oil faster than it can transfer. the system is RPM independant.
if the trim sender is bad or stuck it may not transfer. if the emergency switch works the tank circuit is ok.
do you have the digital guages with indicator lamps?
