Buzzer going off

I have a 2003 yamaha 130 txrb. I pulled out of marina today going slow and when I finally started to accelerate after 2 or 3 minutes the buzzer went off behind the ignition. I never knew I had this alarm and I'm not sure what this alarm is for. Does anyone know what this alarm is? Anyways i let the engine cool down for about a hour and i decided that i would try and get back to marina when all of a sudden the engine started rumbling and the boat was vibrating. What could this alarm be going off for? And when this alarm goes off is there tons of things that could be wrong or what can be wrong? Thanks

Re: Buzzer going off

Overheating due to water blockage. Or lack of oil.

I think with all the questions you have posted, you might need to make friends with someone that is knowledgeable about boats and invite them to go boating with you.

That type of attitude will not get you very far on most sites and may limit the friends you have that will offer help.
lighten up
An owners manual and service manual will help you a lot. pick them up and read
YAMAHA MANUAL STORE

low oil level in tank on motor or overheat are the most likely problem for alarm going off,
but the vibration and rumbling does not sound good.
Need to check compression, spark, and timing to start out with to make sure motor is healthy enough to chase things farther
