ok. got my thermoswitch in today in the mail. put it in. (in head type) force 507y9b 89. anyways my buzzer is bad. no sound with direct 12v current. when i replace heres my Q. since my head has already been cooked once from an overheat (lucky it did no damage) when i get a buzzer to install im thinking and actually have purchased a small red marker light. shouldnt hurt to wire it to buzzer should it? that way theres a double warning. light and buzzer. in case one doesnt work in the future.

another Q, the thermo in the head is the ground i assume. the one off ignition (key) is hot? the light i got is a clearence light with a small push in type bulb like in a turn signal. little DIY thinking going on here lol. put in a dumby light. hahaha!

i also cleaned off the leads to the fuel pickup after reading a few old threads. mine has not been properly working. always showed 1/2. now its on full where the gas level is. didnt relize they measured resistance. terminals were dirty oily. glad i popped in here. about got my boat 100% again. going fishing tonight.:)
