Hello all. I have a1957 12hp M/W sea king. It is supposed o have 2 bypass covers on it. One is for the fuel pump pulse. This is missing. Does anyone know where I can get one? I know some JohnnyRude parts will fit. So if anyone can give a heads up on this I would appreciate it. The engine number is GG8971B. Thanx!

Uh-huh, see that's what happens when somebody cannibalizes an otherwise good motor for some small part.

Those bypass covers are in great demand because people use them to convert their 15hp Evinrudes & Johnsons to a fuel pump. Try your luck with a free want ad on the Webvertize pages at www.aomci.org An 18hp J/E will sort of work, but the screw holes are larger and the pump offset (height) probably is different, depending on year. Needless to say, those are in demand too.

I tried a couple of places for that. Most folks don't know what I am talking about and send me info about fhe top engine housing and the housing side covers. But thanx anyway.

The guys at aomci.org know what a bypass cover is. Did you place an ad?
