I have a 00' C50 that has given me flawless service for 10 years until now. motor will not trim down until unit warms up. up trim works fine. i have checked all connections and thinking it could be a relay??? thanks for any help
When I say "unit", I ment engine. there is no corrosion what so ever. all wires are good,tight and lubricated. i am leaning more towards the relay being the culprit.
I have seen motors trim start working after motor runs for a few minutes because the voltage would become higher from motor charging up battery. Check battery voltage, but I think you are right on the relay.
