The forward bilge always has a little bit of water in it and I am trying to figure out where it is coming from. By a little water, I mean less than 1/2" so not enough for the bilge pump to remove. I manually removed the water, but the next time I used the boat I noticed some more water was in there. I store the boat indoors so it isn't from rain. I am trying to figure out a) where it is coming from and b) is there a drain line from the forward bilge to the rear bilge? Looking closely at the back for the forward bilge area, there is a small opening at the back wall and am wondering if there is a drain line there that runs to the rear and if so why the water is not going out that line. I haven't had a chance to run a snake in that area to see if there really is a line or not. I checked all of the plumbing in the fwd bilge area and can't seem to locate any loose fittings or other reasons why there would be water there.
Is it normal to have a little standing water in the forward bilge? If not any ideas on what I can check?
Thanks
Tim
