Cadet Needs Help...

I was on here last week with help finding a serial number.

I have recently discovered it is a ADI ignition... hence the duplicate parts on the side of the engine which were labelled each with white stickers that said 2 cyc 3 cyl - and stamped with a date/numbers 10 9 78

I see it is a six spark plug hence a 6 cyl.
There is 3 carbs

I will look again on the motor for a serial number, now I look, the plate is gone, I will look on the mount, and by the welch plug.

I can't find a thing, so does this mean it is probably been stolen at one time??
It runs like a charm, I need to find the bottom end that will match up with the year.

can we post pics on here if I make them small or email someone a pic or two?

Set up a free account at Photobucket or one of the other Web photo album sites, post your pix there and then put the link to those pix in your next forum post. It helps greatly to get up close and personal with the camera when taking/posting photos of your outboard...eliminates a lot of guessing on our part.
