Calling all hf 360 boot owners

I've got a Sevylor HF 360 and I've ordered and received my number tags from boatnumberplates.com I had them made out of PVC because that's what the boat is made out of.

Now my question is I was thinking about getting the boot from ebay but I noticed its made out of nylon and not PVC. I followed the recommendations from the directions that came with my tags and ordered some marine PVC abhesive and waiting on that to arrive. I noticed that the boot covers the area ill need to put the tags so ill have to put them on the boot if I get it.

Now how will this stick seeing how its PVC to nylon and ill be using a PVC abhesive will it stick good or not. How did you guys do it? The main reason I'm wanting to boot is to protect the boat from the sun and hooks. Ill be fishing in open waters so not worried about debris in the water.

on mine I got a pc of vinyl about 2ft long fooled the top over about 2in and gluded it to form a tube at the top placed the numbers on it with the sticker and ran the grab ropes on the out side thru it one for each side. That way if I am not useing my trolling motor I dont have to put them on the ropes have to be taken off anyway to put on the boot and then put back on . Another way of doing it on the boot would be get some white vinyl spray paint paint a strip about 6" by 2ft after masking it off then use black vinyl spray paint with stencles to paint your numbers on . I am thinking about doing this later if mine starts getting bad and the numbers start comming off the vinyl pc I put on they are the stick on vinyl letters from wally world..

Thanks for your reply I'm wanting you use the tags I have though because there pretty expensive not to use. I was wondering if the pvc abhesive I ordered will hold it to nylon because id like to use that to because that was pretty expensive. I was just hoping someone would chime in that was in the same situation as me because. I know a lot of people have the boat boot and a lot of people have order there number tags from that site

There was only one on ebay that sold yesturday for 102.00 and 16 shipping. There's know way I'm paying that much when I can get a brand new boat for 160 with free shipping. I'm just gonna glue the tags on the boat and use it tell she's done for and either buy a new boat or get me a john boat.
