I have a 50 horsepower force outboard that is an 89 model. When I advance the throttle to wot the back plate in the carburator is barely open but when I manuely advance the throttle cam it will open up all the way. How to I adjust this correctly and am I losing throttle the way it is currently set at?
Thanks
Ken

Re: cam throttle

You need to buy a Clymer Force Outboard Shop manual. The procedure for adjusting the carbs and the timing is too long to type in here. When you have the book to look at, it is relatively easy to do.
