Can a B20 engine match up with a B30 Bell housing (AQ170)

Hi all

Please can anyone advise if a B20 engine can match up with a B30 Bell housing (AQ170)

Im thinking of maybe swapping over the engines if its that straight forward?

Ayuh,.... I donno, but the gear ratio will probably be way off,....

If yer goin' from a 4 cylinder to a 6, it'll be geared to low,....
Goin' from a 6 to a 4 the ratio will be way to high,....

flywheel on a B30 is different than a B20 so therefore the starter needs to be in a different spot.

If you are going through all the trouble of swapping, get a new bell-housing and put in a V6 4.3L

Id rather keep my current Volvo AQ170C if i can get it running good but wanted to know what my options are if i decide to swap.

Id have to work out what matches up with a 280 leg!
