Can anyone help me ID this "Seahorse" hull?

Hey all,

I saw a neat ad on craigslist for a 14' Fiberglass Runabout. The boat is an hour and a half from me, so I called to get some info. When I asked what year, make, and model it is the owner replied, "It's a '64 Seahorse."

I'd like to do a little research into the boat before driving all that way to look at it. I'm wondering if anyone here might have insight into what make and model it is (I'm not sure Seahorse is either make or model of this boat).

As I'm sure you can guess...an internet search for anything related to boats with "Seahorse" in it nets an overwhelming volume of vintage Johnson outboards.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Clem

You may or may not be aware that OMC did actually make boats at one time, yours does not look like one of them though, the "sea horse" appears to be just a name somebody decided to call it.....

Ask the seller if he can find any identifying tags fixed on the hull inside, if it has one there should be a makers name on it......

Yeah...that's pretty much what I figured, too. I guess I'll just have to see if I can drag it home and figure it out from there. I'll keep you posted if I do.
