Can anyone help me name this pats or item

My johnson motor seems to be missing something when I lift the motor out of the water it should lock in to place right in the full up right position for like transport and to keep it out of the water but I cant seem to find what it locks on to can anyone help me name that part so I can get one thanks

you could help yourself by giving just a LITTLE bit of information

her eis a diagram and I am pretty sure the parts are close...anyway it gets you an idea of what you need to look for


it doesnt swing down by itself

you have to pull it into place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

part # 55 and related screws...

it will rotate down and rest on part # 36 and its mate on the other side...(transom brackets)

I dont think I have that parts I will have to look again but the motor is a 1964 johnson seahorse 18HP
