Re: Can anyone help me?

I'm assuming that your Seapro is a center console. Not sure. Don't know if Seapro made/makes cuddy cabins. Either way, you'll need to give us more info than 1989 21'. What model is it? What motor/drive? What other "specs" are you looking for? There should be a capacity plate on the boat. That will give you some of the info you're asking for. For fuel capacity, it should tell you on the fuel tank, probably near the sender. If you can't find the capacity, you'll need to measure the fuel tank. LengthXwidthXheight divided by 8.35=capacity in gallons. Post some pictures of your boat. Once you give us more info, we'll be able to help you more.

It is a center console. I bought it with no motor or controls so I'm not sure what power it came with. The boat also don't have a hull plug. From what I heard they only made a few hulls that way. I bought the boat from someone who was movin for $500.00 the hull looks great. And I just bought a 91 Johnson 225hp vro. Hopping it's not to much power for it. That's all the info I have on it right now. As far as a plate I haven't seen one. But I'll be by the boat again in a few days to look again.

Re: Can anyone help me?

my 21' sea hunt "Triton" is very similar to my friend's 21' sea pro, although ours are newer (c. 2003). I understand sea pro is out of business.
Ours were rigged with 150 Yam's, but mine is rated for 225 max. The weight is 2,100 and it has an 80 gallon tank; loaded it weighs around 3,500.
Your hull may be a different design, though, such as a bay boat, which may have a lower max HP.
$500 is a steal. Just be sure your transom is solid; I'd be worried about accumulated water in the stern if it's been sitting-is it funky in there, or clean? But mine accumulates no more than a pint of water (eyeballed) as the deck drains out the stern scuppers (be sure they aren't clogged, too).
I think you ought to install a garboard plug, and in doing so, you can inspect the intgrity of the transom. If it's OK in the bottom, I'd think it's OK all they way up, since as I said, the risk is from accumulated water at the bottom. If the transom is soft, you have plenty in your budget to replace it.
If it's been sitting a while, be sure to deal with the old fuel correctly; don't run it through your motor.

Welcome to Iboats and enjoy your boat! Post some pics when you can.

If you can't find the capacity, you'll need to measure the fuel tank. LengthXwidthXheight divided by 8.35=capacity in gallons.

Actually, to find the capacity is (measure in inches): Length x width x height, then divide by 231. That will give you the capacity in gallons. 8.35 is the lb. weight of a gallon of water.

I.E. - 24" x 24" x 24" = 13,824 cubic inches. 13,824 ? 231 = 59.84 gallons **now, conversely**
24" x 24" x 24" = 13,824 cubic inches. 13,824 ? 8.35 = 1655.56 gallons.

Most 21' CC boats are equipped with an 80-85 gallon tank.

The hull looks pretty clean from what i can see. I have a couple soft spot on the floor that i am going to repair. transom also looks strong but like u said i got to see what the wood looks like. i just got a great deal on a 1991 225hp johnsons for 1,500. The fuel i still got to see what i got inside the tank as far as amount of fuel. But thanks so much for all the info. I'll def put up some pics as soon as some of this snow melts. Thanks again
