can I get more top speed???

Hi all, I have a 2000 Tracker PT175 With a merc 50 ELPTO .
my current prop is 10x17p aluminum.
my current WOT is about 5400 rpms, with a GPS top speed of 30.1 mph
I would like more top end, but dont want to spend a fortune to test props. and I dont want to take forever to get on plane either
I carry an average load for a two person fishing team.
is there anything that makes sense to try or am i about maxed out

i doubt that there is much more speed to be had in this case. not more than a couple mph anyway. im sure one of the experts will chime in.

are you sure it's a 17 pitch? if that's a 2 stroke you should be running a 13 or 14 pitch with a 10 or 10.5 diameter. my friend has a 17' tracker with that motor and he has a 14 pitch apollo and his topend is around 34-35. rpms are @5200-5300

I was going to comment on the pitch also. You should be doing mid 40s at that RPM.
