I Have A 1989 115hp L6 I May Have A Broken Ring. Can I Remove The Spark Plugs And Then The Cylinder Block Cover To Inspect And Check For Cylinder Wall Scoring. Or Is There A Different Way, Short Of Taking The Entire Power Head Off. Which I'll Have To Do If I See Damage To A Piston Or Rings I Guess. Any Suggestions Bj

No, but you can look through the intake ports, remove covers and you can see one side of the cyl.

Where Are The Intake Ports & Covers As Related To The Cylinder Block Cover? Sorry For The Ignorance

If It Was Obvious To Me From The Info Provided In The Manual I Would Not Have Asked. My Effort Is Not To Waste Peoples Time On This Forum. Obviously, You Have More Time Than I Do.
