hi folks, <br />was wondering if i can shift an o/b motor [slightly forward and slight backward] when it is running and i have the waterhose hook up just see if my motor will shift into forward, neutral, and reverse properly.<br /><br />had a bit of a scare lately with the motor and want to test the result of my recent tinkerings. <br /><br />it's a 1994 mercury o/b 90hp. <br /><br />thanks
