**** Can I substitute my 40hp Froce Prop?

Hi Gang

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can I substitute my prop for something else? I am having a hard time finding the exact replacement prop.
On my prop: 48-73140-15 is on the hub. Can I use a prop with a different number, or do I have to find the exact match as to what's on my hub?

That's a 10-1/8" x 15" Mercury aluminum three blade. If you know the year (do a serial number search) and you will find ton's of replacement props for your boat. I would recommend sticking with a 15 pitched blade if you were happy with the performance out of your 40HP.
