Anything is possible. It's up to you to decide how much money and effort you are willing to invest. There are several things you'll need to do:
1) there must be enough room in the engine bay for a larger engine.
2) add or modify engine mounts.
3) modify wiring harness
4) current exhaust is a single pipe. Will need to locate a "y" pipe for the exhaust.
5) transom shield will need to be of the type with relief ports for the y pipe.
6) gear ratios in the lower end of the outdrive are different so will need to replace and re-shim the lower gear set.
