Can I use "heater hose" for water hose???

I'm in the process of replacing bellows, gimble,etc. for my Merc. MR. The hose that came in the kit was 5/8", but I need 3/4". It's the weekend and the only thing available is heater hose from the local Autozone. Can I safely use this single reinforced hose or should I wait and look for beefier (two strand hose) next week? I'm not concerned about pressure...but wondering more about kinking. Thanks

YES, I've even used a piece of good quality garden hose once when I sprung a leak on the 4th when nobody was open. And yes I replaced it the next day with heater hose from NAPA.
