Hey Guys,

We got this 1988 22' Bomber bass boat from my wife's Dad who passed away. He brought it to the lake 4 years ago and it ran good. We now have it and I can not get power to turn on.

There is a panel to the right of the console and I checked that for a power on. There is a battery switch and guage on the back left of the boat right next to where the battery box opens up. It says battery and run.

I have that to run. It does not show anything when I flip to battery either. I charged a couple of the batteries a few months ago. There are 3 batteries in the back hatch. When you turn the key, I get nothing.

Any help would be awesome. Someone said there might be a fuse on the engine. It is a outboard 150HP Eveinrude.

Thanks for any help..

Start with a test light and a volt meter. Test the battery, follow wires (pos.) and recheck voltage at every junction. Eventually you will end up at a switch or the starter. There may be fuses hidden, but when a boat sits, things corrode. Good luck.
