Can not match VP SV Outdrive Trim Sender/Sensor Unit # 3855074

The current Sensor has TWO wires, all the sensors I have found have THREE wires..I searched through Sticky Threads, founds some information but the thread was closed.. Thanks for any feedback...I am really enjoying this community..its has been a wealth of Info and every one has been very helpful..A Huge ALOHA from the Big Island of Hawaii! Happy New Year!

You can use the sender that has 3 wires. You only use two of the wires.

What model do you have? You should put in your signature.

Usually the sender has two black wires and a white wire. At the engine harness the three wire connector has only two wires coming out of the engine side that hook up to the two black wires.
