Can not mount Smart Tabs!

I ordered and received my Smart Tabs and did a dry fit only to find the rear tie downs are in the way, also the fish finder (I'm guessing) wire is also in another mounting spot. I hate the idea of relocating the fish finder wire and having to patch those holes and making new ones or is that an ok thing to do? I also bought a new 14.5/17p Prop. all this to help the boat come to plane quicker.

No offense but you need to set your priorities. Yes you can patch the holes. It'll look a lot like most of the other boats on the lake.

Do you want your transom to look pretty and perfect or do you want to mount the smart tabs. Whats more important to you?

Gotch ya! Would marine sealant work for patching the holes on the bottom of the hull or do I need to use an epoxy or fiberglass.

Ayuh,... You should do 1 thing at a time, to know which thing worked, 'n exactly what it does...

Thats good advice, thank you. I already installed the new prop and tomorrow we'll see what she does different. This gets to be very confusing, Naticus said they will fix all the issues I have with the boat but they are trying to sell me something....on the flip side I spoke to 2 different dealers who said they wouldn't waste money on them and the prop is the real issue.

Ayuh,... Smart tabs are money Well spent,... I've never seen 'em hurt the performance of a hull....

I'd use marine tex to fill the holes.
