Can Silent Shift be adjusted?

We have a 2021 200 HP V6 package in our boat. I love the Silent Shift in that it doesn't clunk and jump like my old alpha one boat did. But it seems to need to be adjusted. I put it in reverse and it engages and the boat idles backwards. But if I want it to go just a little faster I have to keep tapping the throttle back more and more and little seems to happen. And when docking, I need things to happen. So I move it back more and then the boat jumps backwards. Not good in tight spaces. It seems like the shift into reverse (or forward) happens like it should, but then the movement to make the motor change RPM is higher than it should be. Is there anyway to adjust this?

It sounds like your shift linkage is adjusted right but maybe your throttle linkage might not be. Have you contacted your dealer about this? Most dealers who sold you the boat are happy to make adjustments like this for free.
