thanks thats what i thought but was not forsure about housing but i was going to change that anyways . and about the bronze bushing if this impeller HAD ONE it is no where to be found but as soon as the rain stops i am going to check and see if the bushing is still on the shaft. and also had plans to change t-stat. but this boat i bought 2 days ago , it had not seen water since last 4th of july and this guy had it for serveral years and changed this stuff every year but when his hobbies changed to stock car racing he parked it . but the problem i am having is that no water pumping throgh at home and when i back down the ranp and float boat it pumps out the two holes on back very had and it gets hot to touch and sprays a hard spray but no warning buzzer unless u have wot but was not ran very long doing test . can you explain how this impeller is causing this . the only thing i can think of is that when is in water it fills pee hole up with water and the little pressure that impeller progucing pushes water out that ran but eng starts up and runs good after the fact that i cleaned carbs and changed wires (coils too @80.00 a peice)
