I bought a fishing boat in a auction,go ever had it before me painted different and i think they cover the #'s that are printed on the boat..i wanna know if i post pics can someone tell me what model its, all i know its a century..

The serial number should be on the right side of the top of the transom. Manufacturer's are required to permanently attach the number, usually by 'carving' it into the hull. The number is also required to be permanently placed at some other undisclosed and difficult to reach point in the hull. The first three letters of the serial number will give you the manufacturer, the rest of the numbers will tell you the model year of the hull as well as the month in which the hull was built.<br /><br />Thom

Was this a real live auction or online auction?<br />If online, give us the link to the listing.<br /><br />How old is this boat?<br />Pre 1973 were not required to have a hull id number.

i found this tag,it says year 1995,i think the boat brand its century,center console its fishing boat, on the motor it says 125 force, its there a site where i can check the info or tittle of this boat like car with carfax?
