hi.
I have this thin hose that starts just tucked between the engine cowling and the steering rod and just hangs down to the start of the gearbox.

I have found a hole in the back of the gearbox the it would be the right lengh for but if it is for that do i need it and what is it for or where should it go?

if you look at 1A & 1B i dont have them 2 bits but i recon thats where the hose goes.

Does your speedometer work; if not that may be the hose or tube for it. Some motors have a built-in water pick-up for speedometers. Good luck

+1^ Its a little black tube that gets brittle and breaks easily. Y
You can tap in there or put in another bit of plastic pipe with some sealant around it
The other option is to buy it. Part # 326266 — FITTING, SPEEDOMETER
