can someone tell me/hubby how to winterize?

My dad gave my husband and I a boat about a month ago. We know that it has a Mecury 50hp serial number 6450367. We are totally clueless on this. I have looked and went to several different sites but can't seem to find this engine. We are not sure what year it is. Hubby thinks it is either a '72 or 76. I hope someone can clue us in. Thanks

It's a 1984 motor. Winterizing for O/B's is fairly simple but your best investment for $30 is to buy a manual, read through the winterizing section then come back here if you have any questions.
