Can the throttle shaft assembly be removed?

Can the shaft that the throttle "plate" connects to be removed after the plate is removed off of the shaft?

Hello Damian.Yes the shaft can be removed from the body.Here is a link to a Tecumseh carb manual you can add to your library.Hope this helps.

Thank you for the manual.

I did an idiot mistake ! Had to get the shaft out to clean it.
