Hi I’m new to this site and I could really use some direction. I have a 1992 sea ray 180 bow rider with a mercruiser 3.0L Engine serial # 0D706391. I just pumped out 8 quarts of oil/gas mixture out of the oil pan. I don’t know how it got there or why but I would sure like to know? And what’s should be my next step in getting this fixed? I was just gonna Change oil filter and fill to the correct oil Level And fire it up and see what happens.....haha.

Check the mechanical fuel pump. If Diaphragm ruptures Fuel could end up in crank case there is a yelowish clear tube up from fuel pump to carb air horn look for Fuel in there

:welcome: to iBoats . . .

Is this boat new to you? or perhaps tell us a bit of history leading up to the oil overfill situation.

It was the fuel pump. I checked the filter that’s at the bottom of fuel pump and above that there is what I thought was a diaphragm and it just fell apart in my hands. Fuel pump was a marine pump. So I changed it out and all good now. Thanks for the help
