Can you replace just the wheel inside the trim sender sensor?

The resistor wheel inside my trim sensor is worn and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if you can buy just that wheel or do I need to replace the entire unit? I looked in the manual and didnt find anything.

Its a 1993 Alpha 1 Gen 2

no i dont think so. as far as i know you change the whole thing and they come a kit from mercruiser, with both sensors.

thats what i found when i changed mine any way.

thats what I figured... I'll live with a jumpy trim gauge before I buy both sensors, unless I can find them cheap and used on ebay...
