The answer to the little moron question is quite funny, particulary if you are aware of the location of the Empire State building. I just went to the official ESB site and when I tried to back up to I Boats I could not. Will some one please explain why? Thank you.

Some sites don't honor the "Back" button and won't let you back up. It's like if I stay there and not leave, I'm gonna buy something or use their services. very aggravating.

What in the blue blazes is a cluth? Is that a micro slop product. ;)
The clutch problem turns out be symptomatic of complete slave failure. Thanks for your help.

That is one of the reasons why I , more often than not, use the 'open link with new window' feature.

a lot of mean sites do that to ya, you can't backup, cause they redirect the first site to a mirror of itself, so if you hit back, it puts you right back to their site.

Sometimes just a double click on the back button is enough, or you have to Right Click the back button and select the previous site you would to get back to.

Good tip noel. I was more interested in the why and how it than a rememdy. Since I run across this rarely it isn't in my repetoire (PARDON MY FRENCH). Next time it happens I will apply your suggestions.
