can't figure out where these go

So now we are putting water pump back in our 1985 omg stringer 800 and apparently these fell out and my husband cannot figure out where they go! He thinks that they go somewhere in the swivel housing and he thinks they are all together where ever they go. He's looked at all the drawings but seems to be getting less confident so if anyone can tell us where these go we would be very appreciative. Thank you.

I must clarify that my husband siad they did come out of the swivel housing he just does not know where in the swivel housing exactly.

Shims for spacing.
REALLLLLLY important to put back in.
Get the parts diagram and see where they go.

+1 ^^^ walk backwards though what you had apart with the diagram and figure out where those were.

The problem is he cant figure out where they go even after looking at the exploded drawings and he did not take them out exactely he says they kind of fell our he thinks because he saw them on the work bench under the swivel bearing thing thats why he assumes they are from their. Maybe they dont show in drawings because they are shims their are differnet numbers of them depending what you need to shim? Is that correct? What could possibly need shims in that area?
