Can't find hull Id number on skeeter

I just got a 92 skeeter sf 175 bass boat and need to find the hull ID number on the transom where most boats have them and I need to find it because the dnr requires a pencil tracing of it to change it to South Carolina registration (boat is from Georgia). Any idea where the hull ID number is? I know boats have hidden ones but I'm not sure where it is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the capacity plate still on the boat (usually by the helm). Sometimes they have 'em too.

I just checked the plate and it doesn't have it on there. Any other ideas?

I searched everywhere on the transom and still can't find it but there is an aluminum plate that the motor is mounted to that I think has been mounted on it aftermarket and I think it is under it. Where is the hidden one?

Well that link has your owners manual and where it SHOULD be. I don't know where you live but here if your boat was sold with a HID plate it must be visible for inspection at any time so you may want to look into removing the mount and find that plate. If the PO removed the plate you will need to find out if it is legal to have a plate made with the proper HID, if you can locate that number even (mines on title), and give them an etching of that.

I have the hid on the title from the previous owner. Where could I get someone to make one I could put back on it? I found where it use to be and it was removed to allow for the plate to be mounted.

First make sure that anything but an original plate is legal. If they say any plate reflecting the HID is ok then find your local machine shop or a shop making things like street signs. Basically you just need a thin plate of metal stamped or engraved (or both) with the proper information.

I found a skeeter plate inside the battery compartment with all the info of the boat on it.
